LIL CHEDDAR MEAT LOAVES

Ingredients

1 Egg
¾ Cup Milk
1 Cup (4 ounces) Shredded Cheddar Cheese
½ Cup Quick-Cooking Oats
½ Cup Onion, Chopped
1 Tsp. Salt
1 Lb. Lean Ground Beef
2/3 Cup Ketchup
½ Cup Packed Brown Sugar
1-1/2 Tsp. Prepared Mustard

Instructions

  1. Set oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a bowl, beat the egg and milk. 
  3. Stir in cheese, oats, onion and salt. 
  4. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. 
  5. Shape into eight loaves; place in a greased 13-in.x9-in.x2-in. baking dish. 
  6. Combine ketchup, brown sugar and mustard; spoon over loaves. 
  7. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes or until the meat is no longer pink and a meat thermometer reads 160 degrees. 

Yield:  8 servings

Meal Side Suggestions:  Mashed Potatoes or Velveeta Cheesy Shell and Green Beans.
