EGG AND SAUSAGE CASSEROLE

Ingredients

1-1/2 Lbs. Jimmy Dean Hot Sausage, Cooked and Drained
6 Slices Bread, Cubed
2 Cups Milk
8 Eggs, Beaten
1-1/2 Cup Cheddar Cheese, Shredded
1 Tsp. Salt
Seasoned Salt, To-taste
White Pepper, To-taste
Accent, Dash

Instructions

  1. Cook and brown sausage, drain. 
  2. Mix all ingredients, except for ½ cup cheddar cheese, together in a mixing bowl, transfer to a baking dish, cover, and refrigerate overnight. 
  3. Remove the casserole from the refrigerator 20-30 minutes prior to baking. 
  4. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 
  5. Sprinkle ½ cup cheddar cheese on top of the casserole and bake for 1 hour. 

Great recipe for brunch – make ahead and place in a warming tray lightly sprayed with butter or oil for serving. The original recipe did not state hot or regular sausage.  You can do 1 lb. hot and ½ lb. regular sausage for less spice.
